How To Make Browsing Web Page Load Faster

This is an old trick that came into my mind while brosing the internet today, I dig up my files and sure enough I still kept a copy of this trick. :smile: So am thinking to share this here and easier for my future reference. Maybe it will help you too?

I only tried this trick on Windows XP…This trick will need to change some registry settings, so before proceed I strongly recommend you to make a backup copy of your registry before proceed. How to backup? Easy, just launch regedit and click File -> Export.

So let’s begin,

  1. Click Start -> Run
  2. Type in “regedit” without quotes, hit enter.
  3. Browse to this path: “\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\ServiceProvider
    You will see these files on the right panel
    All settings shown here are set...
  4. Next, you will need to change these entries to 1, and make sure all values are “Hexadecimal
    • Class = 1
    • DnsPriority = 1
    • HostPriority = 1
    • LocalPriority = 1
    • NetbtPriority = 1

    (To edit the values, either double click or right click and select Modify.)

  5. Close your registry and restart Windows.

Now test it and is your web sites loads faster than usual? Mine is :grin: Do let me know how it works for you.
